To The N86 Blog Page a place to experience mobile photography and video via the lens of Nokia’s premiere photographic flagship device the N86 8MP. Our focus will be all about photography, applications, video, and general Nokia N86 news but this page will be more than that, it well serve as an open canvas for other N86 users to display their art.
I remember my college days when I signed up for my first photography class and I was instantly hooked, it was love at first site, and many moons ago started my love affair with photography. The play of whites and blacks and the richness of grays are just a small part of the complicated intricacies of this means of communication.
The craft of photography has given us many great names and one can not mention the word photography without naming but just a few, here are some of my all time favorites and which in a way have inspired the creation of this blog as a mean of expressing emotions and recording life as it happens.
Henri Cartier Bresson – was a French photographer considered to be the father of modern photojournalism, an early adopter of 35 mm format, and the master of candid photography. He helped develop the “street photography” style that has influenced generations of photographers that followed.
Robert Doisneau – French photographer noted for his frank and often humorous depictions of Parisian street life.
Alfred Eisenstaedt – The 20th century had a preeminent master of the candid photography, Alfred Eisenstaedt. Called “the father of photojournalism,” Eisenstaedt perfected certain techniques for capturing the spontaneous moment that has given us some of our most enduring photographic images.
I can go on and on with names like Brassai, Friedlander, Evans, Adams, as some of the greatest photographers but one thing is for certain and that is, that their work of art is an inspiration to us all.
